John Brady

John Brady is a Director at Flax & Associates. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Brady began his career as a union commercial carpenter and in historic preservation & restoration. He then spent the next 30 years in the insurance restoration industry specializing in cost estimating, damage assessment, project management, construction defect analysis, code analysis, and construction management on all different types of projects throughout the United States.

At Flax & Associates Mr. Brady focuses on assisting clients in the timely assessment of property damages and estimating/scoping repairs. His background enables him to use his extensive experience to advise clients in all phases of construction and property claims. In addition, Mr. Brady’s on-site experience throughout his career allows him to effectively communicate and anticipate issues before they arise which has proven to provide the utmost value to our clients.

Mr. Brady was born and raised in Connecticut and then resided in California before relocating to the Florida’s west coast. He holds a California General Contractor’s B-License, California Earthquake Certification, and has completed OSHA-10, OSHA-30, and Xactimate Level I certifications.

In his free time, Mr. Brady enjoys outdoor activities with his wife including hiking, golfing, and spending time at the beach. He also enjoys traveling and making memories with family and friends.
