Edward Sellian

Consultant

Edward Sellian is a consultant at Flax & Associates, LLC. His diverse background includes years of roofing experience, catastrophe claim assessment, construction dispute analytics, and project management. Prior to joining the Flax & Associates team, Sellian served as a project manager for Venture Construction Group of Florida. During his time there, he dealt with project planning, permitting, safety, scheduling, and supervision of multiple catastrophe-related commercial renovation projects, including the full restoration of a funeral home and a hotel.

At the same time, Sellian’s knowledge of construction allowed him to work with Hill, Rugh, Keller & Main, P.L. in Orlando as an intelligence analyst. There, he was tasked with presenting large amounts of raw data in an easily comprehensible manner to be used in the dispute resolution process.

While attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Sellian held an officer position as treasurer of the ABC-UCF Chapter and traveled to California to compete in the National Construction Management Competition. In preparation for this, he received formal instruction in essential take-off and estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and RSMeans.

Sellian is currently a student and plans to receive his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton in 2021. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending free time with friends and family and hitting the beach.
